What are the booking terms and conditions of Chatel Reservation?
Once you have chosen your accommodation, Chatel Reservation will ask you:
- to pay a deposit of 25% within 2 days to confirm your booking
- to pay the balance of your stay 30 days before your arrival
If you book less than 30 days before your arrival, you must pay the full amount of your reservation.
Following the payment of your deposit, you will receive a booking confirmation by email. This email is not automatic, it is sent by us during office opening hours.

How do I cancel my stay with Chatel Reservation?
To cancel your booking in Chatel, please contact us by email specifying:
- The reservation number
- Your name and surname
- The reason for your cancellation
What are the payment options with Chatel Reservation?
For your convenience, you can choose to pay by:
- credit card (secured payment)
- cheque
- bank transfer

Are there any additionnal costs with Chatel Reservation?
- €18 of Chatel Reservation's administrative fees are added to the rental price
- Cancellation insurance: 4.5% of booking amount. This insurance is optional. Please refer to the cancellation insurance policy.
- Tourist tax is added to the rental price. It has to be payed to Chatel Reservation simultaneously as the deposit or directly at the real estate agency on the day of your arrival.
- A compulsory damage deposit has to be payed to the owner or the real estate agency during the check-in inventory. The deposit amount is fixed by the owner or the real estate agency.
- Charges (water and electricity) are included in your holiday rental price.

If something unforeseen happens to me, how can I cancel my holiday in Chatel?
As experienced travellers know, the unexpected can happen. Chatel Reservation offers to take out a multirisks stay insurance (4.5% of the total booking amount).
- The customer must take out the insurance before he pays the deposit.
- The subscription is not compulsory, BUT in that case there will be no refund for cancellation. The client will have to pay the entire amount of the booking at the contract due date.

Will linen hire be included in my booking Chatel Reservation?

- Most of the time, the guest must clean the house before leaving.
- With Chatel Reservation, you can choose accommodation with final cleaning included, by selecting this criteria during your search.

The owner, its representative or the real estate agency will welcome you in Chatel for the key collection.

1. You have chosen for postal delivery: The pre-booked services (MTB/ski passes, card for ski lessons) and/or the exchange voucher (ski equipment/Spa Oceane treatment) will be sent to you 10 days before the start of your stay. No modification of the file will be possible after this period.

You have chosen to collect your services on site: The exchange voucher (ski equipment/ Spa Oceane treatment/) and/or pre-booked services (MTB/ski passes, card for ski lessons) will be available, on the day of your arrival, for collection from the Chatel Reservation office, 281 route de Thonon, 74390 Chatel.
